Kassem Lachaal

Motive: Unknown

Crime: Killed his second wife, Latifa Lachaal, in their house in Crawley. His first wife, Fatima Lachaal assisted in disposing of the body.

Method: Her throat was cut with a knife. Her body was found on the 31^st August in two bundles. Her body had been chopped up and wrapped up. Her internal organs, lower limbs and head were missing.

Sentence: Kassem got life for murder, and Fatima got 18 months for assisting in the disposal of the body.

Interesting fact: This case appeared on the British television programme Crimewatch UK, in a desperate attempt to identify the fabrics that the bundles were wrapped in.
